yep .. I have to admit most of the time is the TO trainees that leave a bad impression on the CI trainees. ..... anyway, they are not arrowed as like some lady TOs, right? so they will be an easier lot to handle and settled in in NPCC. Hey! That is a gd idea of separating those TOs frm those frm NUS/ NTU open units.. Ultimately, their roles will b "different" when back in sch despite holding on to the same rank.. At least, TOs will b more focused & taught what their job is.. & the course will not need to b generalised.. to suit everyone.. ya?? Afterall, I feel that P shld respect teachers' choice of whether or not to join NPCC.. because it is a CCA, that is so different frm any other.. Lady teachers can still join, even if they hav no experience, esp when they wanna challenge themselves, ya?

hmmmmmmmmmmm ..... seem that the TO only specialised in looking out for cadets who "pull down the morale of the unit". he/she ought to do some reflection him/herself. If cadets are on long term poor medical condition, then ...... 1) Make sure that they are covered with MC. 2) After the MC, check with the cadet n parents if he/she need a time of low key training n recuperation and be covered with parents' letter. 3) Throughout the period of recuperation, attach an NCO to be with him/her to make sure the cadet can catch up with the lessons. Talk to the cadet constantly so that he/she will not feel that he/she is not isolated from the rest and being left out. ;D - I know all these all ideals, may not happen as what we want it to happen. For eg, The cadet may lose interest in NPCC ultimately or his/her medical condition may not allow him/her to continue involving in the NPCC rigourous activities ... most of the times, we will just have to react to situtuations and come out with the most "workable" plan. But it will be good to have a standard operation procedure (SOP) for such cases. It is always gd to set goals that r realistics & which will benefit both parties (ie npcc & the cdt himself/ herself).. Those r ideal ways of solving the prob.. The unit shld work towards it..
